HHA and ÅHLÉNS Explore Further Product and Supply Chain Collaboration

HHA welcomed representatives from Swedish retailer ÅHLÉNS on September 14–15, 2026, for two days of product reviews and business discussions. The visit focused on new product development, material selection and opportunities to improve supply chain efficiency.

During the visit, we introduced its product portfolio, development capabilities and international sourcing and production network. The discussions connected ÅHLÉNS’ retail requirements with the company’s experience in coordinating design, sourcing and manufacturing for international customers.

Product reviews covered wool and cashmere garments, T-shirts, tops and hosiery. Both teams examined fabric composition, weight, softness and wearing comfort, alongside construction details and seasonal colour options. These exchanges helped clarify the specifications and product combinations to be developed further.

With material costs and retail price expectations central to the discussions, the teams explored ways to balance quality, comfort and commercial requirements. Topics included construction adjustments, shared material sourcing across styles and production planning for repeat orders. Follow-up work was identified for sample selection, colour cards, product information and detailed costing.

Beyond individual products, the visit provided an opportunity to discuss closer supply chain coordination. The teams exchanged ideas on packing by store, shipment consolidation, replenishment and information sharing, with the aim of reducing repeated handling and improving responsiveness to retail demand. They also considered how different product categories, store volumes and size requirements would affect the feasibility of these approaches.

The two-day exchange provided a clearer understanding of ÅHLÉNS’ priorities and the areas for further collaboration. We will coordinate the next stage of product, drawing on the company’s integrated development, sourcing and production capabilities to support the partnership.
